JOB TITLE: Communications & Marketing Specialist
POSITION LOCATION: Homer Office
OBJECTIVE: Serves members, employees, media, and the public by creating content and providing information regarding the cooperative.
EDUCATIONAL AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in mass communications, journalism, marketing, or a related field is required. Applicants must have demonstrated knowledge and experience in writing, graphic design, photography, and social media. Experience with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and Constant Contact software is preferred. Excellent oral and written communication is required, along with an aptitude for social and community engagement. Applicants will be asked to submit a portfolio of work during the interview.
After an offer of employment has been made, a physical is required which may include both drug and alcohol testing.
