Claiborne Electric Makes Final Preparations for Annual Meeting

Claiborne Electric’s drive-through Annual Membership Meeting will be held June 6, 2026.

The Co-op will host the meeting between two sites – one at Claiborne Electric’s headquarters office (12525 Hwy. 9 in Homer), and one at D’Arbonne Woods Charter School (9560 Hwy. 33 in Farmerville). Registration will begin at 9 a.m. and close at noon.

The theme for this year’s meeting is “Powering Progress.” With our eyes clearly focused on the future, Claiborne Electric is working towards streamlined processes that work better and faster for our members. Our goal is to be known as one of the most progressive utilities in the state; we believe 2026 will be a benchmark year for the Cooperative as it continues to move into the digital era.

Members are asked to bring the Official Registration card they received by mail to the meeting. Cards are pictured below. If a member did not receive a card or has misplaced it, they may visit a Claiborne Electric office before the Annual Meeting, and a Member Services Representative will be glad to assist.

Registration cards contain a section for members to approve the minutes of the 2025 Annual Meeting, which are printed on the card. Members are asked to have cards marked upon arrival, and have the matching photo ID ready to present. This will help the registration process to flow smoothly.

The primary member on the account must be the one to register and present identification. If a spouse will attend the meeting without the primary member, both spouses must visit a Claiborne Electric office before the Annual Meeting to form a Joint Membership. With a Joint Membership, either spouse can present ID and represent that membership at the meeting.

An organization that is a member of the Co-op may designate a person to attend the meeting to register on behalf of the organization. At registration, that person will need to present a letter on the organization’s letterhead, signed by an owner or officer of the organization, naming them as the representative.

All members who participate in the meeting will receive a gift from the Co-op and be entered for several cash and gift card prizes. Prizes will include:

  • $5,000 cash grand prize
  • $4,000 cash prize
  • $3,000 cash prize
  • $2,000 cash prize
  • $1,000 cash prize
  • 50 $100 gift cards

We hope to see you on June 6!
